Samuel J. Marrone Jr. 66, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O'Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. The funeral mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Church in Bloomfield at 11:30 a.m. Visitation is on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
Born in Newark, Mr. Marrone lived most of his life in Bloomfield.
He was an Army Veteran of Viet Nam and an avid patriot, reader and car enthusiast.
He was the beloved son of Lucy Marrone and the late Samuel J. Sr., brother of Vincent, John, Kathy and her husband Joe and the late Joseph Marrone. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Samuel J. Marrone Jr. will live in our hearts forever.
