Marjorie A. Cantwell (nee Woods), 85, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge, surrounded by her loving family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the O'Boyle Funeral Home 309 Broad St. Bloomfield on Monday at 9:00 a.m.  The funeral mass will be offered at Sacred Heart Church at 10:00 a.m.
Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Visitation is on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
 
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was a lifelong resident of Bloomfield.
 
After high school,  Marjorie worked as a secretary in Manhattan and then a homemaker while raising her children. She was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and retired secretary at Our Lady of Lourdes School in West Orange.

She was the wife of the late Richard J. Cantwell, mother of Peter and his wife Kathy of Old Bridge, Nora Richey and her husband John of Bloomfield, Eileen Cantwell of Madison, Paul W. of Bloomfield, Susanne M. Russo and her husband Anthony of Bloomfield and the late Ellen Marie; sister of Edward Woods and his wife Margarite of Oregon, Gerard Woods and his wife Arlene of Arizona and the late Raymond Woods; sister in law of Rae Woods of Oregon and Rev. William J. Cantwell C.S.P. of N.Y.C.; grandmother of Alex and his wife Tiffany, William, Sarah, John, Joshua, Angela, Marjorie, Anthony, and Vincent.
