Sally Lynn Johnson, 75, lifetime Lapeer resident, died Tuesday June 20, 2017. She was born September 25, 1941 in Flint to parents Jack and Shela (Ramsey) Vickery.

Sally proudly served in the United States Army from 1960-1965. She returned home to date and marry Theodore Johnson on June 9, 1971 in Sylvania, OH. Mrs. Johnson worked in healthcare; clerical, as a nurse aide and a care giver for over 40 years.. She enjoyed attending Calvary Bible Church and was involved with the Mayfield Unit of Suncrest Auxiliary. Sally collected dish towels from "everywhere" and enjoyed reading.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband of 46 years: Ted Johnson, stepchildren: Debbie (Lindsey) Semple of Gillette, WY; Karen (Jim) Fifield of Hillman; Eric (Iris) Johnson of Columbiaville, 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, siblings: Jacky Massey of Las Vegas; Chuck (Joanne) Vickery of Lapeer. She was preceded in death by her sister: Sue Getty, as well as her parents.

Mrs. Johnson's visitation will be 12:00-4:00pm Sunday, June 25, 2017, at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Her funeral will be 11:00am Monday, June 26, 2017, at Muirs officiated by Pastor Jeremy Lazzell. Burial will follow in Stiles Cemetery.
