Thomas Rolando, age 68, of Lapeer, died Saturday, April 22, 2017. Thomas was born July 3, 1948 in Pontiac, to Joseph and Iva Norine (Garner) Rolando.
Tom proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy, during the Vietnam War. Mr. Rolando was actively involved with the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship Church in Lapeer. He loved collecting and "wheeling and dealing" to purchase antiques and many other treasures.
Tom is survived by his children: Tom (Kelly) Rolando, Jr., Tammie (Pat Gray) Woomer-Gray of Lake Orion, Joseph (Samantha) Rolando, Shelley, Amy and Angela; grandchildren: Samantha, Lauren, Michael, Brittany, Anakin and Madden; and siblings: Ron (Dora) Rolando of Leonard and Beverly Haley of Metamora. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Norine Rolando.
Visitation will be 9-11AM Thursday, April 27, 2017. Mr. Rolando's funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00AM at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer, Pastor Dan Turner will officiate. Burial will follow at Attica Township Cemetery, with military honors under the auspices of American Legion Post #16 Honor Guard.
