Madeline Ann Jamroz, age 88, of Lapeer, formerly of the east side of Detroit, died Monday September 5, 2016. Madeline was born March 3, 1928 in Revloc, Pennsylvania, to John and Rose (Amshey) Rantovich. As a young woman, she moved from Pennsylvania to work in the "Tea Room" at the Hudson Department Store, Detroit. Madeline was preceded in death by 2 loving husbands: Jerome Felczak in 1964 and Julius Jamroz in 1993. Both of Mrs. Jamroz's husbands proudly served their country in the U.S. Military, and she was a former member and supporter of the VFW Auxiliary. Mrs. Jamroz was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Lapeer.
Madeline is survived by her son: Tim (Cathy) Felczak of Lapeer; grandchildren: Steven Felczak of Lapeer, Amy Felczak of Lapeer and Lisa Felczak of Lapeer; and siblings: Dorothy Kosowski of Clinton Twp. and Ed Rantovich of Lapeer. She was preceded in death by her husbands: Jerome Felczak and Julius Jamroz; son: Stephen Felczak; siblings: John, Helen and infant twin sisters; and also her parents: John and Rose Rantovich.
Visitation will be 4-8PM Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. The family will also receive friends one hour prior to the funeral mass, 10-11AM Thursday, at the church. The Rosary will be prayed 7PM Wednesday at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. Madeline's Funeral Mass will be 11:00AM Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Immaculate Conception Church, 814 West Nepessing St., Lapeer. Father Raymond Arwady will officiate the service, burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp..
