Amber Lynn Minton, 32, of Lapeer, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016.
Amber was born June 16, 1983 in Lapeer, Michigan. She was a graduate of Lapeer West High School, class of 2001. Amber had a youthful spirit about her. Her smile and laugh were infectious and people were drawn to her. Amber always took the time to care about others in need despite her own hardships. Above all, Amber loved her children.
Amber is survived by her children: Kobe Sellers of Davison, Joslynn Hartwell of Attica and Cadence Hartwell of Attica; parents: Sherry (James) Giacopelli of Burton and Carl (Geanine) Minton of North Branch; siblings: Stacy (Michael) Sims of Livonia and Shannon (Katy Schelble) Minton of Chicago; step-siblings: Jeffrey (Jill) Kenel, of Flint, Darrell Kenel of Waterford, Carrie (Chad) Hamilton of Burton and Matthew Graham of Goodrich; grandparents: Rayburn & Betty Minton of North Branch, Gerry & Joyce Greer of Otisville, Beverly Lukasavitz of Otisville, Shirley Giacopelli of Caro and her great grandfather, Gerald Stiff of Otisville. Amber is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 4-8PM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Amber's funeral service will be at 11:00AM Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer. Pastor Rick Yarbrough will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are encouraged to the Sellers/Hartwell Educational Fund (checks payable to Stacy Sims).
