Anne M. Potter, age 80, of Metamora, died Saturday, June 20, 2015. Mrs. Potter was born November 10, 1934 in Detroit, to parents Michael and Marguerite (Townsend) Francis. Anne married Charles Edward Potter on April 2, 1956. The Potters were members of Grace Episcopal Church in Lapeer for many years. Mr. and Mrs. Potter owned and operated Potter Title Company in Lapeer, where Anne had many administrative responsibilities.
Mrs. Potter is survived by her children: Christopher (Lisa Mammel) Potter of Los Gatos, California, Beth Tokioka of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii and Craig Potter of Metamora; grandchildren: Justin Tokioka, Emma Tokioka, Cole Potter and Enza Potter; sisters: Dorothy Silvers of California and Betty Francis of Pennsylvania; many many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Potter in 1994; parents: Michael and Marguerite Francis; siblings: David Francis, Edward Francis, Elaine Farazza, Allen Francis, Paul Francis and Jack Francis.
Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Lapeer. Anne's funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Hunters Creek Cemetery.
