Bernia V. Cowdrey, age 59, of Metamora, formerly of Pontiac, died Saturday, May 9, 2015. Bernia was born July 1, 1955 in Pontiac to Monroe and Agnes Owens. Bernia married Dennis Cowdrey on August 2, 1991 in Clarkston. Mrs. Cowdrey worked in assembley for General Motors. She enjoyed shopping, being with family & friends and helping others. Bernia loved her grandchildren with all her heart and soul!

Mrs. Cowdrey is survived by her husband: Dennis; mother: Agnes (Dave) Seaver of Metamora; father: Monroe (Judy) Owens of Pontiac; children: John Orona of Metamora, Scott Cowdrey of Clarkston, Cheryl (Robert) Dennis of Fenton, Stephanie (Steve) Ritchotte of Cadillac and Stacy (Michael) Bambach of Holly; grandchildren: Alexis, Dilan, Savannah, Cassandra, Carolyn, Daniel, Tajia, Briahna, Julia, Justin and Alaina; siblings: Marie (John) Dennis of Metamora, Barb (Dan) Rott of Romeo, John (Debbie) Owens of Attica, Chris Owens of Sterling Heights and Ronnie (Judy) Owens of Brown City; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
