Marlene R. Smith, 84, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
She was born on March 29, 1939, to Marvin and Esther (Langewisch) Viets in Sweet Springs, Missouri.
She worked at Immacolata Manor in Liberty, Missouri as a direct support staff member for several years.
Marlene enjoyed spending time with her family and studying the Bible.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two children, Brian Krause and Kim Krause.
Survivors include her children, Brenda Price and David Krause (Gail); grandchildren, Melissa Kelley, Jessie Krause, Ryan Krause and Calli Price, and five great-grandchildren.
