Margie Kirk age 82 years of West Union, Ohio died Monday April 7, 2014 at the Adams County Manor. Mrs. Kirk was born December 6, 1931 the daughter of the late Everett and Mary E. (Lawler) Holmes in West Union, Ohio.
Mrs. Kirk was a member of the West Union Christian Union Church and a founding member of the West Union Life Squad, a town council member, 25 years with the Campfire Caravan and a founder of the Twilight Bingo Club.
Survivors include her husband Willie Kirk of West Union, Ohio; two daughters; Sara Lewis and Eydie Kirk both of West Union, Ohio; one son; Duane Kirk of West Union, Ohio; one sister; Dottie Stone of Manchester, Ohio; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 11, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home in West Union, Ohio with Lee Dettwiller officiating. Burial will follow at the West Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. the day of the service at the funeral home.
