John Goldsborough was born on June 11, 1940 in Chester, PA to the late Alvin and Stella Townsend Goldsborough. He passed away on May 31, 2011. John attended school in the Chester Upland School District.
He worked in the auto assembly plant at Chrysler Corp. for 21 years and retired in 2001. He was a very active singer in the Chester, Philadelphia and New York area. John loved to cook and was known for his bread pudding and macaroni and cheese dishes.
In 1963 he joined the U.S. Army and served in Korea and spent a total of three years in the military.
John leaves to cherish many memories his devoted by his wife Maxine Marshall Goldsborough; 1 daughter Kira JonaĻ@ Goldsborough; brothers David, Samuel, and James Goldsborough all of Chester, sisters Rita Wesley and Stella Goldsborough of Chester, Sylvia Jennings, of Bear DE, Kathryn Hill and Naomi Grant of Brookhaven, PA; one aunt Lydia King of Chester and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
