Brenda Kay Goodin was born November 22, 1950 in Corsicana, Texas to Oscar Coleman Barber & Nellie Faye Comer and passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 in Mesquite, Texas. Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, David Larson, parents, Oscar Barber & Nellie Comer, and brother, Gayle Barber. She is survived by her son, Jeff Larson & wife, Angela Hill, daughter, Lisa Kaisler & husband, Frank Kaisler, grandchildren, Chase, Justin, David, Katlin, Meagan, Angelina, great-grandchild, Kassandra, brother, Benny Barber, sisters, Wanda Brown and Patricia, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Brenda will always be remembered by her family and friends for her kindness, loyalty and love for all. She loved with her whole heart, her kids, grandkids, and great-grandbaby were her everything, she was always the best caregiver that anyone could be blessed with. Brenda's greatest accomplishment was instilling in all of her children, was independence she was a prime example of an independent woman. Brenda's special soul lead her to working with special needs children for 17 years in safely transporting them. She leaves behind many beautiful memories and we will especially miss her knack for her great "long" story telling.
