Mildred Ann Kirksey was born March 30, 1931 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She passed quietly into the arms of her savior on Saturday, February 18, 2017. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy Kirksey, two sisters, Becky Spain and Bobby Mobley and two brothers, Mike and Don Francis. Mildred was predeceased by her late husband, Doyn A. Kirksey. Mildred will be remembered for her easy smile, quick humor and exuberant personality. She had an infectious laugh. Most of all, she will be appreciated for her vibrant faith in Jesus Christ and her godly conduct.
Mildred was a long-term member of First Baptist Church, Mesquite, Texas. She was known for her faithful attendance, being at church just about any time the doors were open. Mildred dutifully served on a variety of church committees and actively supported different ministries of the church.
