Born November 14, 1959, in Dallas, TX and passed away February 8, 2012, in McKinney, Texas at the age of 52. Darrell is survived by his son, Darrell Kent, Jr., aunt, Hazel Morrison, uncle, William J. Browning, cousins: Kathy and Ed Schmidt, Steve Lemley and Roberta Huff, Karin and Tim Panton, Dan Morrison, and Ricky and Joyce Tompson, and other family members. Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. George Baker officiating. Interment to follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite, Texas.
