Maria De Jesus Gonzalez was born December 23, 1925 in Monterray, Mexico to Abraham Hernandez & Rosa Guzman and passed away January 29, 2012 in Mesquite, Texas. Maria was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Carlos Gonzalez; children: Maria Guajardo & husband Juan, Irma Gonzalez & husband Sergio, Sonia Gonzalez & husband Jose, Nancy Alcantar & husband Martin, Carlos Gonzalez, Jr. & wife Lucy, Homero Gonzalez & wife Catherine, Javier Gonzalez & wife Isabel; 22 gandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters; 1 brother and numerous other family members. Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at the funeral home with a rosary service at 7pm. Funeral service will be 10:00am Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Laurel Oaks Funeral Home Chapel.
