Jacqueline Denise Jackson

On November 30, 1960 Jacqueline “Jackie” Jackson was born to Delores Dobbins-Roe and John O. Roe. She was born and raised in Austin, Texas and the oldest of five children. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was a member of Webberville Ebenezer Baptist Church. Jackie was a faithful Christian, a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and always ready to render a needed service and will be missed by all who knew her.

Jackie was united in marriage June 15, 1978 to Dwayne Jackson Sr. for 28 years. To this union she was blessed with one child Dwayne Jackson Jr.

Jackie was a dedicated, loyal and faithful employee of Capital Metro for 14 ˝ years as a Customer Service Supervisor. Her favorite hobbies were decorating, working in the yard and sports events. Especially sports events like basketball and her favorite player Robert Horry and football favorite player, Emmitt Smith. She was also a big advocate of animals and loved the outdoors.

Jackie was preceded in death by grandmothers Hazel Dobbins and Etta Mae Collins, Step grandmother Jewell Roe, Grandfathers Rudell Roe Sr. and James Dobbins.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Loving husband Dwayne Jackson Sr, Son Dwayne Jackson Jr, One grandson Dwayne Jackson III, Mother Delores Dobbins-Roe, Father John O. Roe, one brother Derek Wayne Roe and three sisters Anitra Yvonne Roe, Felicia Diane Roe and Elisa Evette Roe, Mother-in-law Eunice Patton, four brothers-in-law Travis Jackson Jr. Stanley Jackson, David Jackson and Anthony Jackson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
