Stephen A. Jones, 68, Seneca, Kansas died Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Nemaha Valley Hospital.
He was born September 21, 1944 to Charles Fenwyck and Dora Gray (King) Jones in San Antonio, Texas.
Stephen married Leann Hensley on April 16, 1980.
Mr. Jones served in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 26 years as the Chief of Police for the city of Seneca. He was also a member of United Methodist Church of Seneca and American Legion Post 21 in Seneca.
He enjoyed motorcycles, playing the piano, and was a fitness enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his father; and grandson, Noah Jones.
Survivors: wife, Leanne; sons, Tim (Jennifer), Andy (Ginny), Chad, Mark, Mike, Donald, Carol, and Scott Jones; daughter, Jeanette Ruttinger; grandchildren, Peter and Moriah; Sara Jones; sister, Sandra Keller (James); and mother, Dora Jones.
Memorial Services: 11:00 A.M. Monday, United Methodist Church, Seneca, Kansas. Mr. Jones was a member of the Kansas Cremation Service.
