John & wife Dorothy farmed northeast of Randolph until 1976 when they retired and moved into Randolph. He enjoyed gardening in his retirement. John & Dorothy enjoyed square dancing for a number of years and were members of the Pierce Square Dancing Club. John loved nature and delighted in watching things grow. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing cards and square dancing. He loved to travel, visiting all 50 states and Germany.
