Edwin "Gene" E. Bohac, age 87 of Leigh, died Friday July 18, 2014 on his farm near Stanton, he was born December 8, 1926 near Leigh, Nebraska the son of Jerry and Anna (Lothan) Bohac. He attended Stanton County District #54. He worked on the family farm all his life.
Gene married Sharren E. Gaddie on April 18, 1965 at New England Congregational Church in Stanton. The couple farmed near Leigh. He always enjoyed spending time with each one of his grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, his chickens and his farm. He always had a story or a joke to tell anyone he talked too. A lifelong farmer and family man, he enjoyed life immensely and shared his enthusiasm with his family and friends. He was president of the B.S. club!
Gene is survived by his 3 children Dale and Lisa Bohac of Leigh; Gerry Bohac of Los Angeles, CA; Mark and Tamy Bohac of Leigh; 6 Grandchildren Jacob, Sara, Henry, Andrew, Eli and Adam Bohac of Leigh; 3 Sisters-In-Law Betty and Joe Quinn of Stanton; Betty Bohac of Norfolk; Clara Hammel of Columbia, MO; 1 Brother-In-Law Don Gaddie of Riverton, WY.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Sharren on November 12, 2007, 1 brother Richard Bohac; 2 Sisters Nora Frances and Flora Edith.
