Fay DeMaio, 87, of Manahawkin, NJ, passed away Friday, Oct 17, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Fay was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She lived in Brooklyn, NY for 47 years before moving to Manahawkin, NJ

She volunteered her services to Calvary Tabernacle, Brooklyn, NY and Monmouth Worship Center, Marlboro, NJ for over 50 years doing hospitability and church mailings. She worked at Eye Physicians of Central Jersey until she was 87.

She is survived by her loving husband Joseph DeMaio, daughters Joyce Maranzani and husband Joseph, Lorraine Blondo and husband Dennis, Judy Flanagan and husband John, grandchildren, Melissa Segarich, Joseph Maranzani, Dennis Blondo, Lorrie Dirienzo, David Blondo and Daniel Blondo, John Flanagan Jr. and Kristin Flanagan and 13 great grandchildren, Alexis Shearer, Robert & Gianna Segarich, Noah, Anna, Sarah & Andrew Blondo, Nathaniel, Ambrose & Raffaella Dirienzo, Madison and Jesse Blondo, and Chase Blondo.

Her devotion to the Lord, prayer life and love for her family and friends were an encouragement to all. She made everyone feel special and loved. She will be missed more than words can say.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the Holmdel Funeral Home 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30AM. Interment will be in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
