William was born on August 24, 1923 to Joseph and Mary (Frye) Pleimann in the old town of Center Line, MI now called Warren, MI. After high school, William answered the call to serve his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II as a ball turret gunner. After the war, he met and married Frances Kengerski and they were blessed with 10 children. William spent many years in the Boy Scouts, and during his youth enjoyed his motorcycle. He was a quiet, reserved, quick-witted individual and at times could be quite stubborn. He was a wonderful supportive father and grandfather, always willing to give guidance and place others before himself. First and foremost to William was his family, he will be deeply missed.

He was proceeded in death by his son Timothy Pleimann, four brothers, Charles, Bernard, Alvin & Robert, and two sisters, Alice and June.
