October 21, 2016, age 86; beloved mother of Mary (Daniel) Tamrowski, Cathy (John) Slate, John Janish, James Janish, and Ann (Jeffrey) Schieder; loving grandmother of Matthew, Ryan, Zachary, Rachel, Ava, Eli, Julianna, and Elena; dearest sister of Angeline (late Sam) Monaco, Josephine Giglia, Carrie (late Thomas) Rutherford, and predeceased by Santa Giglia, Mary (late William) Atkins, and Florence (late Andrew) Matteliano; dear daughter of the late Angelo and Carmela (nee Volpe) Giglia; also survived by many nieces and nephews. The family will be present on Monday from 4-8 PM at the (Amherst Chapel) AMIGONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5200 Sheridan Dr. (at Hopkins Rd.), where prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 8:45 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated from St. John the Baptist Church, Kenmore, at 9:30 AM.
