Ann Danos Keegan 91, passed away October 27, 2015. She was born in Manchester, NH on May 22, 1924, a daughter of John X. and Eva J. (Agrafiotis) Danos. Ann was joined in marriage with Frank Champion Keegan. Ann was a journalist working for the Union Leader for 10 years, and a very talented artist, with exhibits displayed throughout the US. Ann traveled the world and loved to read.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan Lombardo and her husband Philip; a granddaughter, Talia Ann Lombardo; four step children, James Keegan, Jean Keegan, Gail Buccini and Michael Keegan; her sister, Penelope Carbee; a brother John O. Danos; 6 nephews Dr. Charles W. Elwell Jr, Marshall Carbee, John R. Elwell, Todd Danos, Christopher Danos and Jon Danos; and four nieces, Nanci Crosbie, Melissa Clark, Cheri Porter, and Jennifer Quimby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; a sister, Lynne "Ellie" Elwell; a brother, Robert X. Danos; and a nephew, Jonathan Carbee.
A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. with the memorial service beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday October 31, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 607 Chestnut Street, Manchester, NH. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project via WoundedWarriorProject.org/donate.
