Katherine M. "Kay" McLaughlin, 93, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2014. She was born in South Boston, MA, on July 11, 1921, the daughter of Frank and Molly (O'Donnell) Pucci. She graduated from Girls High School in Boston, and Boston Clerical School. Kay married Leo J. McLaughlin in 1944. Together they raised ten children and enjoyed 40 years of marriage until his passing in 1985. Kay hosted Saturday lunch in her kitchen for family and friends for nearly 50 years. Her greatest joy in life was being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, Bedford, NH.

She is survived by nine children, Marcia Zahr, Hannah McCarthy and husband Phil Rutledge, Leo McLaughlin and wife Marty, Michael McLaughlin and wife Mary, Stephen McLaughlin and wife Joanne, Kathleen Peterson and husband David, Mark McLaughlin, Patricia McLaughlin, and Matthew McLaughlin and wife Debra; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Margaret O'Connor; a brother, George Pucci; and many nieces and nephews.

She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Rosemary McLaughlin in 1994; and two brothers, William and Joseph Pucci.

Kay's family is grateful for the care and friendship she received from the Visiting Angels, Julie and Connie, in the last years of her life.

Services: Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, August 22, 2014, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 607 Chestnut Street, Manchester, NH. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 265 S. Main Street, Manchester, NH, followed by committal prayers at Bedford Center Cemetery, Bedford, NH.

Kay volunteered with Easter Seals, and donations may be made to Easter Seals New Hampshire, Development Dept., 555 Auburn Street, Manchester, NH, 03103.
