Isobel Wyatt was born on September 28, 1930 in Cranford, New Jersey, daughter of Isabella Williams Muldrow and Charles Muldrow. Educated in the Cranford Public School System, she was a lifelong resident of Cranford.

While in high school, Isobel met the love of her life, James W. Wyatt and they were joined in holy matrimony in Cranford on August 1, 1953. This union was blessed with three children, Jeffrey, Brion and SuEllyn. Isobel enjoyed being a Mother to her children and participated actively by teaching her children how to play baseball and softball volunteering with the PTA (Parent Teacher Association), Pop Warner and she was a Den Mother for her oldest Son Jeffrey's the Cub Scout troop. She also taught her children how to play baseball and softball.

Isobel had been employed as a Teachers Assistant Social Worker for Catholic Charities in Elizabeth, New Jersey for 6 years. She later earned a CDL (Commercial Drivers License) and worked part-time as a mini-bus driver with the mentally disabled.

She was a member of St. Marks AME Church in Cranford where she was a former choir member.

Isobel Wyatt departed this life on May 17, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway, New Jersey at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James W. Wyatt in 2008.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, her three children, Jeffrey Wyatt (Pam Harris) of Staten Island, NY, Brion Wyatt of Cranford, NJ and SuEllyn Wyatt of Charlotte, NC; three grandchildren, Kemi Billy, Melia Wyatt and Corey Mobley; five sisters, Iona Muldrow, Carlee Muldrow, Anna Hearns, Elsie Muldrow and Betty Robinson; three brothers, Earl Muldrow, Lawrence "Larry" Muldrow and William "Butchie" Muldrow and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
