Claire H. (Collins) Conrad, 66 of Phillipston, died peacefully Friday evening March 11, 2016 in Health Alliance Hospital.
Claire was born in Gardner, October 30, 1949 a daughter of the late George H. and Evelyn E. (Sentabar) Collins, and has lived in Phillipston for over 30 years.
Claire recently worked for Hardy Bus Company of Winchendon, she also worked for Walmart for 13 years. Claire was very giving of her time, she worked as a crossing guard for the Gardner Schools, and also worked as a bell ringer with the Salvation Army. Claire enjoyed shopping, going to flea markets and yard sales. Most of all Claire enjoyed spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her grandson.
Claire will be missed by her husband of 40 years, Edmund P. Conrad, one daughter; Lisa M. Couturier and her husband Jeffrey of Nashua, her beloved grandson; Ethan Couturier, two brothers; George H. Collins Jr. and Charles O. Collins of Ashburnham, three sisters; Arlene J. Therrien of Winchendon, Patricia A Johnson of Orlando, Fl, and Donna J. LaFleur of Lunenburg, MA, two step sons; Christopher Conrad and his wife Lisa, and their son Cody of Fitchburg, and Kenneth Conrad of Worcester, and many nieces and nephews. Claire was predeceased by one sister; Georgia L. Moon.
