Eleanor (Brown) Kiberd, 85, of Kirkwood, NY formerly of Winchendon, died peacefully at her home on January 5, 2016.
Eleanor was born in Lowell, MA December 17, 1930, daughter of the late Bertram and Louise (Randall) Brown, and lived in Winchendon for fourteen years before moving to New York. Her beloved husband Myles A Kiberd died March 22, 2006.
Eleanor worked as an executive secretary for Nashoba Hospital in Ayer, MA for many years, retiring in 1993. Eleanor enjoyed quilting, but most of all she cherished spending time with her family and friends.
Eleanor will be sadly missed by four granddaughters; Michelle Kiberd and her husband Michael, Amy Martin , Jennifer Stone and husband Josh , and Cynthia Kiberd and her boyfriend Andrew , six great-grandchildren, and a daughter in-law; Terrie Kiberd. Eleanor was predeceased by her two sons, Alan Kiberd August 19, 2006 and Robert Kiberd July, 7, 2013.
You are invited to attend a memorial service in the Fletcher-Hebert Funeral Home, 70 Pleasant St., Winchendon, on Wednesday, Jan. 13 beginning at 3PM. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in the spring.
