Thomas Sterbinsky, 49, of Phillipston, died Thursday June 19, 2014 in UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, after a brief illness.
Thomas was born in Phillipston, son of the late William R. and Hope N. (Whipple) Sterbinsky, and has lived in Phillipston all his life.
Thomas was an avid Red Sox fan and outdoorsman. He enjoyed photography, riding motorcycles and working on cars. Thomas was very handy and could fix anything.
Thomas will be sadly missed by his five sisters; Janice Bosse of Royalston, Dianne Peloquin of Greenfield, Patricia Mendiola of Edinburg, TX, Rosalie Sterbinsky of Phillipston, and Anita Gilbert of Gardner, two half brothers; Jon Sterbinsky of Montana, and William Sterbinsky of CT, and many nieces and nephews. Thomas was predeceased by one brother; Stephen Sterbinsky, one sister Gloria Sterbinsky and one half brother; Philip Sterbinsky.
Relatives and friends are planning to honor and celebrate Thomas' life by gathering for a memorial service in the Phillipston Congregational Church, 64 The Common, Phillipston, MA on Thursday June 26, 2014 beginning at 1PM. There are no calling hours or burial.
