Mr. Thomas M. Gilbertson, age 69, of Vonore, TN, passed away on Tuesday, April 3, at his residence. Thomas was born April 2, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minn., the son of the late Harlan Milton Gilbertson and Loraine Johnson Gilbertson. On September 5, 1969, Thomas married Karen Opdahl in Minneapolis. He was an attorney and a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife Karen Gilbertson of Vonore; his children, Katy L. Gilbertson of Loudon, TN, Amanda W. Gilbertson of St. Louis, MO and Scott T. Gilbertson of Cottage Grove, MN along with one granddaughter, Karen Lee Gilbertson of Loudon.
The family will be planning a memorial service at a later date.
The Cremation Society of Tennessee is assisting the family with their arrangements.
