Katherine (Romano) Clark, 90, of Norristown, passed away peacefully on Saturday October 14, 2017 at the Arden Courts of King of Prussia, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norristown on July 20, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Philip & Mary (Pioretto) Romano, and was the loving wife of the late Lewis Clark.

Katherine worked for many years in Norristown as a licensed beautician before going on to work as an inspector for the Wayerhauser Papermill Co. where she would retire.Katherine loved to cook whenever she had the opportunity and was very talented when it came to the kitchen and was known for her famous meatballs, she loved shopping on QVC and was a collector of many things. But most important she adored her grand children dearly and spent as much time as she could with her family. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and dear friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be missed by many.

Katherine is survived by her two sons, Lewis (Gail) Clark Jr., of King of Prussia, and David Clark, of Norristown; eight grandchildren, Kathleen (Gary) Yost, Marybeth (Gregory) Wiley, Lewis (Kathleen) Clark III, Kelly Clark, Philip Clark Jr., David & Michael Clark, and Melinda Haas; great grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, and Angela Yost, Gregory, Gabrielle, and Alyssa Wiley, Philip Clark III, and Lewis Keenan Clark. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Katherine was preceded in death by her three sons, Philip (Deborah) Clark, John Clark, and Joseph Clark; her four siblings, Anthony, Paul, and Joseph Romano, and Mary Mocarski; she was also preceded in death by her great grandson, Gerard Joseph Clark.


Family and friends are invite to call on Thursday October 19, 2017 from 9:30-10:50 a.m. at the St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton St. Norristown PA. 19401. Mass will follow the viewing at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will take place in the St. Patrick's Cemetery.
