John T. Barnett, 47, departed this life on November 16, 2016 at home. Born and raised in Plainfield, he attended the Plainfield public schools. John was a self-employed barber. He was a member of the Ready to be Free Ministries in Plainfield and also a member of the Roosevelt Jones Lodge # 241 in Plainfield.
He is survived by a son, Jahad Wilson of Washington, DC, a daughter, Jade Barnett of Plainfield, his parents, John I. and Lois Barnett, one sister, Trenisha Ball of Columbus, OH, one nephew, Roger Ball, Jr. of Columbus, OH, aunts and uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.
