Bruce E. Schenck, 53, departed this life Sun. June 5, 2016 at home. Born in Plainfield, he was a lifelong resident.
He served as a veteran in the U. S. Marines.
Bruce was formerly employed with the U. S. Post Office, New Pathways Counseling Services in Bayonne and with Amaker and Porterfield Transportation Co. in Plainfield.
He is predeceased by his parents Samuel A. and Barbara Schenck.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons Kareem L. Schenck (Tamara) and Julius Schenck; four grandsons Solomon, Samaad, Saadin and A.J.; two sisters Wanda Schenck-Lloyd and Carol Davis; one brother Barry Schenck; his maternal grandmother Alice Green; a nephew who was like a son Quran Schenck and his devoted companion Roseanne Sanchez.
