Park    Lucille J. (nee Tortoriello) Alercio, 91, of Union, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011, at the Trinitas Medical Center, Union. The funeral will be conducted from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, on Friday, November 18 at 9:00 a.m. There will be a funeral mass celebrated at Holy Spirit Church, Union at 10:30 a.m. The internment will be at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be on Thursday, November 17 from 3-7 P.M. Lucille was born in Newark and resided in Union for the past 48 years. She was employed as a floor lady for Llewelen Garment Company in Newark for many years before retiring. She was very active with the Union Chapter of the Deborah Hospital Foundation. Lucille is survived by her many beloved nieces and nephews, Joseph Alfano, JoAnn Alfano Coppola, Marlene Giordano, Barbara LaTorre, Dorothy Basilone, Maryann Veele, Betty Pacelli, Rosemarie Tortoriello, Dr. Linda Tortoriello Izzo, Karen DeMadico, Susan Morrison, Maria Bevins, and Ben Fiducia; also by her many loving great nieces, nephews and godchildren. Lucille is predeceased by her husband John Alercio. She is also predeceased by her brothers Frank, Joseph, Thomas, Victor, Edward, and John Tortoriello, her sisters Rose Pepe, Molly Fiducia, Christine Tortoriello, Mary Gervolino and Carmella Alfano, her nephews Salvatore Fiducia, Anthony Tortoriello and Benjamin Tortoriello, and her nieces Marie Tortoriello and Marie Giordano.
