Julia Rose Potter Lifelong Belleville Resident Beloved Grandmother, Sister and Aunt, 81
Mrs. Julia Rose (nee Benedetto) Potter, 81, of Belleville, NJ, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Wednesday, March 15 at 8:30 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at Holy Family Church , Nutley at 9:30 a.m. The interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair. Visitation will be on Monday, March 13 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Julia was born in Newark, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Belleville. She was a counter person for Plaza Bakery, Belleville for 25 years. Julia enjoyed reading, tending to her flowers and going to the casino.
She is survived by her beloved granddaughter Amanda Lazorchak and her devoted sisters Florence McIntire, Phyllis Giordano, Joy Emery, Vickie Cancelliere and her husband Nick, Barbara Benedetto and Jeanne Benedetto. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Potter is predeceased by her husband Patrick Potter, her daughter Julianne Lazorchak and her parents Eugene and Julia(nee Luzzo) Benedetto.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Holy Family Church Capital Repairs, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley, NJ 07110.
