Joseph Attanasio World War II Army Air Corps Veteran Beloved Father and Grandfather, 95
Mr. Joseph Attanasio, 95, of Nutley, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, February 27 at 8:45 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Thomas the Apostle Church , Bloomfield at 10:00 a.m. The interment will be at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair with military honors. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 26 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Joseph was born in Newark, NJ and resided in Nutley and West Palm Beach, FL. He was the owner of the Milset Co., Newark for 40 years before retiring 30 years ago. Joseph was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran having served in the European Theatre with the 325th Fighter Squadron, Checkertail Clan. He will always be remembered for his kindness, guidance and love of his family. He is survived by his beloved daughter Joan Roselli and her husband Mario; and his cherished grandchildren Joseph Roselli and Kelly, and Robert Roselli. He is also survived by his many loving relatives and friends.
Mr. Attanasio is predeceased by his wife Mildred (nee Monaco) Attanasio.
