Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, 92
Mr. Nicola Pedone, 92, of Newark, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 8:15 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark at 9:30 a.m. The interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery , North Arlington with military honors. Visitation will be on Friday, January 8 from 4:00 – 8:00p.m.
Mr. Pedone was born in Jersey City, NJ and resided in Newark, NJ for 69 years. He was a manufacturer at Revlon, Edison for many years before retiring. Mr. Pedone served honorably in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years Mary (nee Marsico) Pedone; his devoted children Nicholas Pedone and his wife Joyce, Maria DeMunno and her husband Edward, Carmine Pedone and his wife Jo-Ellen, and James Pedone; his precious grandchildren Susan Pedone, Deborah Magno, Michael Pedone, Vincent Pedone, Donna Bannister and Dana DeMunno; and his precious great-grandchildren Ryan Magno, Vincent Pedone, Santino Pedone, Sabrina Pedone, Michael Pedone, Jack Bannister, Matthew Pedone, Isabella Pedone, Justin Magno and Emily Magno. He is also survived by his loving brothers Salvatore Pedone, Michael Pedone and his wife Alice, and Vito "Butchy" Pedone and his wife Rita.
Mr. Pedone is predeceased by his grandson Eric DeMunno, his siblings Angelo Pedone, Antoinette Scozzafava, Frances Camocho and Dorothy Calzaretta.
