Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother, 79
Mr. Martin J. Marasco, 79, of Roseland, NJ, formerly of Newark, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Monday, November 23 at 9:45 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Mary's Church , Nutley at 11:00 a.m. The entombment will be at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum , East Hanover. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 22 from 1:00 –5:00 p.m.
Mr. Marasco was born in Newark and resided in Roseland for the past 29 years. He was the owner of Joseph M. Marasco and Son, Inc. Plumbing and Heating for more than 50 years. Mr. Marasco was past-president of the N.J. Master Plumbers Association and past-president of the North Newark Lions Club. He was also a member of the Essex County Construction Board of Appeals, and sat on the Board of Trustees at Columbus Hospital, Newark as well as the Roseland Planning Board and the Roseland Board of Health.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Constance (nee Fontanella) Marasco; his devoted children Martin J. Marasco, Jr., Donna and her husband Glenn Villacari; his precious grandchildren Anthony and Adriana Villacari, Joseph and Giavanna Marasco; his loving brother Richard Marasco; and his loving sisters-in-law Rachel Conte and Michaele Fastiggi. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
