Beloved Mother, Sister and Grandmother, 78

Mrs. Joyce (nee Medaglia) Schweikert, 78, of Nutley passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Alaris Health at Cedar Grove. The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Saturday, March 14, at 8:45 a.m. There will be a Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Mary's Church , Nutley at 10:00. The interment will be at Glendale Chapel Mausoleum , Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Friday, March 13 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Mrs. Schweikert was born in Bronx, NY and resided in Nutley for 45 years.
She was Co-owner of North Jersey Seat Co., Nutley for 47 years before retiring two years ago. Mrs. Schweikert was a member of the Nutley Elks Ladies Auxilliary, Nutley Opti-Mrs., and the Nutley Third Half Club. Above all, her family was her life.

She is survived by her devoted children Robyn Romano and her husband Joseph; and Robert Schweikert, Jr. and his wife Karrie; her loving sister Julie Gramaglia and her loving brother Ronald Medaglia and his wife Jackie; and her precious grandchildren Joseph Patrick, Robert James, Charlotte Julianna and Kate Elinor. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Schweikert is predeceased by her husband Robert Schweikert.
