Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, 94

Mrs. Sarah Angeline (nee Staples) Clark, 94, of Ocean Grove, NJ, formerly of Nutley, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 11, 2014. Mrs. Clark resided and loved living in Nutley for 50 years before moving to Ocean Grove five years ago. She enjoyed being a member of the Nutley Senior Citizens and working at the voting polls.

The funeral will be conducted from the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, August 15, at 10:30 a.m. There will be a funeral service celebrated at Vincent United Methodist Church, Nutley at 11:30 a.m. The interment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 14 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Born in Scranton, Pa., Sarah was the daughter of Jesse and Ruey Staples.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Francis X. Clark, and five of her seven siblings, Sarah leaves behind four loving children, Carolyn Hjembo and her husband, Erick, James Clark, and his wife, Andrea, Nancy Hughes and her husband, Robert, and Richard Clark and his wife, Jeanne; two sisters, Betty Clark and Claire Dougherty; nine grandchildren, Christian Hjembo, Robin Hjembo, Sarah Hartigan, James Clark, Geoffrey Clark, Gretchen Hughes, Megan Lima, Ryan Clark, and Kyle Clark; and five great-grandchildren, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to Vincent United Methodist Church 100 Vincent Pl. Nutley, NJ 07110 would be appreciated.
