Mr. Jaime Torres, 72, of Nutley, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at Clara Maass Medical Center, Belleville. There will be a funeral service conducted at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue on Friday, May 18 at 1:30 P.M. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 17, from 6-8 P.M. and on Friday, May 18 from 11:30 A.M. until time of service. The internment will be at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Mr. Torres was born in Cali, Colombia where he was a self-employed painter, before immigrating to Nutley three years ago.
Mr. Torres is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Luz Eugina (nee Agredo) Torres; his loving children Lucero Calleo, Yuli, Camilo, Ana, Sandra, Eduardo, Mariluz, and Leidy Torres; his loving mother Herminia Torres; his two caring brothers; his two dearly loved sisters; also his twelve cherished grandchildren.
Mr. Torres is predeceased by his father Olmedo Torres.
