Mrs. Mina (nee Boscia) Grutt, 86, of Whiting, formerly of Nutley, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting on Tuesday, January 24, at 10:45 A.M. The entombment will follow, at St. Joseph's Chapel Mausoleum, Toms River. Visitation will be on Monday, January 23 from 4-8 P.M., at the Biondi Funeral Home of Nutley, 540 Franklin Avenue.
Mrs. Grutt was born in Newark and resided in Nutley for 40 years, before moving to Whiting 12 years ago. She was a loving homemaker and was very proud of raising her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Grutt was active in the Meadows Bridge Club, Whiting and an active member of the Rosary Society at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting.
Mrs. Grutt is survived by her beloved son, Dr. Arthur T. Grutt and his wife Clarice; her sisters Marie LePre and Grace Armenti; her cherished grandchildren Kimberly, Marisa, Arthur Jr., Aliza and Vincent; and her precious great-grandchildren Dean, Alexa, Isabella, Gino, Juliana, and Liliana. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews, and her loving Maureen.
Mrs. Grutt is predeceased by her husband Arthur L. Grutt, her daughter Carol Cammon, her brothers Joseph and Anthony Boscia, and her grandson Michael Cammon.
