Douglas Wayne Chaney, 58, of Troy, Ohio died on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton, Dayton, OH.
He was born on November 20, 1947 in Troy, Ohio to Jack and Vivian (Brown) Chaney and they survive in Greenville, Ohio.
He married Sharon (Hirsch) Chaney, she survives, his wife of 40 years.
He also is survived by two children, son & daughter-in-law; Heath & Cindy Chaney of Pleasant Hill, OH; daughter & son-in-law; Deany & Scott Dohme of Piqua, OH; brother and sister-in-law; Terry & Gail Chaney of Troy, OH; sister & brother-in-law; Kim & Gary Kirby of Arcanum, OH; three grandchildren, Kara & Baily Chaney and Chase Dohme and two step-grandchildren, Sierra and Brayden Dohme.
He was a 1966 graduate of Troy High School.
He was Owner of Chaney’s Nursery.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at 10:30am at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Al Bastin officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
Friends may call on the family, Friday, September 29, 2006 from 5-8pm at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
