He was born June 6, 1968 in Wheeling, WV. A son of Robert Manning of Glen Dale, WV and Carol J. Wyatt Manning of Wheeling. Rick was an employee of the Chippewa Asbestos Removal Company, Triadelphia, a professional boxer and a Christian. He was preceded in death by a sister, Terri Lynn Manning. In addition to his parents surviving are his wife, Julie A. Vanaman Manning, a son, Kyle Manning, a daughter, Kaitlyn Manning all of Valley Grove, a brother Robert “Bobby” Manning, of Wheeling, his father and mother-in-law, Melvin and Beverly Vanaman of Valley Grove, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends received 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger St., Elm Grove, Wheeling where services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, July 17, 2003 with Rev.
