Peggy L. Adams, 76, of Ault, Colorado, died Friday, May 23, 2003, in Greeley.
Peggy was born March 7, 1927 near Galeton, Colorado to Earl John and Mary L. (Hoburg) Anderson. She married Warren Lee Adams on January 19, 1947 in Grover, Colorado.
She lived in the Eaton, Grover and Ault area her entire life. She graduated from Grover High School and was the class Valedictorian. She attend two years of college at Colorado A&M, now CSU.
She was a homemaker. She had home Bible study classes at her home and attended Prairie View Community Church.
She was a gifted individual who enjoyed china-painting, oil painting, crocheting, quilting, cooking, baking and reading. She also enjoyed playing games and cards, especially with her grandkids. She will be remembered for her graciousness and her hospitality.
At the age of 14, she worked as a rodeo secretary for her father’s rodeo stock company for several years.
Her husband, Warren Lee Adams of Ault, CO; sons, Richard Warren Adams and wife Cyndi of Boise, ID, Douglas Earl Adams and wife Kathy of Ault, CO and Timothy Lee Adams and wife Judy of Ault, CO; daughters, Amy Louise Nicholl and husband Dave of Windsor, CO and Kelli Anne Adams of Platteville, CO; brother, Jack Hoburg Anderson and wife of Grover, CO; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren survive her.
Her parents and brother, Billy Anderson preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at the First Baptist Church of Greeley. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at Allnutt Funeral Service/Macy Chapel. Burial will be at the Eaton Cemetery, Eaton, CO.
