Memorial services for Janice Louise Bailey East, 82, of Tyler, formerly of Edgewood, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point with Pastor David Cartwright officiating.
She passed away Sunday evening, October 18, 2015, in Tyler.
Janice was born May 23, 1933, in Blossom, the daughter of Oscar Bailey and Carrie Mae Dawson Bailey. She was raised in Blossom. Janice was formerly employed by the Wills Point I.S.D., where she worked in food service. She loved her family and was an excellent cook. She lived in Edgewood prior to moving to Tyler three and a half years ago. Janice was a member of Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church in Edgewood.
Preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, Eula Jones, Mary Helen Allen and Robbie Chance and a daughter, Pam White.
Janice is survived by two daughters, Linda East Callahan, of Tyler and Aprille East Torkelson & husband, Mike, of Tyler; sister, Roberta Bailey Parks & husband, George, of Irving; son-in-law, James White, of Edgewood; six grandchildren, Ashley Wiggins, Robynn Todd, Joshua White, Steven Torkelson, Casey Hidalgo, MaKenzie Hidalgo and seven great-grandchildren, Brooke Wiggins, Reagan Todd, Ryan Todd, Laurynn Torkelson, Caiden Hidalgo, Riley White and Ryan Torkelson.
