Memorial services for Stan Coker, 63, of Mesquite, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2014, at Robinwood Baptist Church in Seagoville with Pastor James Pritchard officiating. Services are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

He passed away early Tuesday morning, September 2, 2014 at his residence.

Stanley was born November 19, 1950 in Kilgore, Texas, the son of Buford Merle Coker and Mary Lou Carp Coker. He was raised in Seagoville and graduated from Seagoville High School in 1969. On December 18, 1971, he married Valarie Arnold in Seagoville. Stan has owned and operated Air Tex Services in Mesquite since 1977. He recently partnered with his son-in-law, Matt to include spray foam insulation to his business. Stan lived in Wills Point for twenty-five years prior to him and Valarie living their dream in Uptown Dallas for four years. He loved his family very much, especially spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Stan enjoyed time spent at his beach house in Galveston, saltwater fishing with his son, motorcycling, playing on his iPad and always having the latest gadget. He was a member of N.R.A and Border Bikers. Stan was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by his parents, Buford Merle and Mary Lou Coker and an uncle, Bill Coker.

Stan is survived by his wife, Valarie Coker, of Mesquite; son, Tim Coker & wife, Joni, of Canton; daughter, Kristi Raschke & husband, Matt, of Forney; step-mother, Gypsy Coker, of Seagoville; three brothers, Ron Coker & wife, Linda, of Forney, Larry Coker & wife, Vickie, of Royse City and Willie Coker of Seagoville; six sisters, Carolyn Carder & husband, Jim, of Buffalo, Wyoming, Carmen Melson, of Seagoville, Rhonda Wells, of Waskom, Sandy Skirvin, of Warsaw, Kentucky, Debbie Coker, of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Cindy Baker & husband, Matt, of Wills Point; three grandchildren, Eden Coker, Hayden Raschke and Deacon Raschke; adopted grand dog, Daisy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends Thursday evening at Robinwood Baptist Church in Seagoville from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
