Family & friends will have a gathering for Lance Dwayne King, 53, of Dallas, at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, in Edgewood at the home of Bobbie Deloach. Arrangements are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

He passed away on April 9, 2014 in Dallas.

Lance was born March 31, 1961, in Bentonville, Arkansas, the son of Charles Lavon King and Bobbie Sims King. He was raised in Edgewood where he attended Edgewood High School. On April 2, 1993, he married Pamela Duhon in Dallas. Lance was employed by Diamond Utility Construction Company in Dallas, John Burns Construction Company in Dallas, Propst Construction Company in Justin and was currently employed as an operator for G.W.G. in Ferris. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Lance lived in Houston prior to moving to Edgewood twenty-two years ago. He was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by his step-father, Harold Deloach; two daughters, Natosha King and Amber Nicole King and grandparents, Bob and Juanita Sims.

Lance is survived by his wife, Pamela King, of Dallas; mother, Bobbie Deloach, of Edgewood; two sons, Shawn King, of Dallas and Shane McKnight & wife, Kristina, of Kaufman; daughter, Tiffany Myers & husband, Harold, of Fairfield; three sisters, Penny Saunders & husband, Lester, of Rogers, Arkansas, Tonia Cotronia, of Addison and Mylena Deloach, of Edgewood and four grandchildren, Haisan Myers, Kelsie Myers, Justina McKnight and Austin McKnight.
