Memorial service for David Paul White, 60, of Wills Point is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2013, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.

He passed away Friday morning, October 18, 2013, in Emory.

David was born April 30, 1953, in Kaufman, Texas, the son of Kenneth White and Freda Mae Hearn White. He was raised in Dallas. On November 23, 1970, he married Sandra Oliver and to this union they had three children, Cary, Tony and Medena. From 1970 – 1976, he was training to become a professional wrestler. Due to a broken back injury in 1976, he was unable to continue his training. At this time he changed his career path and began working at Refco in Terrell as a security guard. While working at Refco he met Vickie Leigh Sims. On June 22, 1984, they were married and that following December, Jonathan was born. He later was employed by Pro-Cuts in Dallas as a cosmetologist. David lived in Elmo prior to moving to Wills Point sixteen years ago. He enjoyed collecting coins, antiques and old memorabilia. David loved his dogs, Dottie, Cooper, Sassy and Molly very much. He attended Trinity Baptist Church in Wills Point.

Preceded in death by his parents and a brother Bubba White.

David is survived by three sons, Cary White, of Pennsylvania, Douglas James Anthony White, of Pennsylvania and Jonathan White, of Wills Point; daughter, Medena White, of Houston; two brothers, Tommy White, of Elmo and John Edward White, of Dallas; two sisters, Shelia Reno, of Dallas and Linda Kay Shuptrine, of Dallas and seven grandchildren, Cary, Jr., Jacob, Miranda, Stormy, Ranee, Sunny and Emaleigh.
