Funeral services for Loritta Duarte, 58, of Grand Saline, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2013, at Roundflat Pentecostal Church near Fruitvale with Bro. Homer Morgan and Mr. Blane Brewer officiating. Interment will follow at Small Cemetery near Edgewood under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away early Saturday morning, May 25, 2013 in Grand Saline.
Loritta was born March 22, 1955, in Edgewood, Texas, the daughter of Porter Marshall Henson and Annie LaRuth Parks Henson. She was raised in Van Zandt County and attended school in Emory. She was married to Joe Duarte. Loritta had been a nurse's aide at Canton Health Center. She enjoyed drawing, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Loritta was a member of Roundflat Pentecostal Church.
Preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Roger Cleveland, Earl Eugene Mosley and Marshall Lee Henson and three sisters, Virginia Nell Huber, Lois Marie Spencer and Dorothy Mosley.
Loritta is survived by a son, Kenneth Shane Henson, of Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Cynthia Ranea Reeves, of Lindale and Angelina Annette Basham, of Grand Saline; two brothers, Kenneth Don Mosley, of Grand Saline and Mickey Henson, of Fruitvale; two sisters, Jan Trimble & husband, Jerry, of Sulphur Springs and Doris Lowe & husband, Walt, of Fruitvale; sister-in-law, Carla Henson, of Grand Saline; seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
